Imari Koutsu's management policy places "safety above all else," and we are committed to providing every passenger with peace of mind on board.
On 2024年12月26日, our safety initiatives were recognized with a two-star ★★ safety rating by the Japan Bus Association Safety Evaluation Committee — a certification program operated by the Japan Bus Association (public interest incorporated association).

INITIATIVE 01
A thorough training program combining classroom instruction (10+ hours) and hands-on coaching (20+ hours). Experienced instructors guide new drivers from the fundamentals of safe driving through to advanced skills.
INITIATIVE 02
We provide follow-up training on basic driving operations six months after joining, plus an aptitude assessment every three years, to support continuous skill development and safety awareness.
INITIATIVE 03
Face-to-face alcohol checks are conducted at every branch at clock-in and clock-out. Drivers and tour guides are prohibited from drinking during overnight stays, with real-time video verification, completely eliminating the possibility of drunk driving.
INITIATIVE 04
We use the "DTS-D1D" digital tachograph and cloud-based dashcam services to collect and analyze real-time vehicle status, driver condition and driving data, using it to coach our drivers toward safer driving.
INITIATIVE 05
All drivers regularly take first-aid training throughout the year, practicing the correct techniques for CPR and AED use to maintain and improve their ability to respond in an emergency.
INITIATIVE 06
To ensure our employees can work with peace of mind, and to maintain good relationships with our customers and other stakeholders, Imari Koutsu Co., Ltd. has established a Basic Policy on Customer Harassment (Japanese only). While we take all legitimate feedback and requests seriously, we will respond appropriately as an organization to conduct that goes beyond socially acceptable bounds and harms our employees' working environment.
